“I was born to ride a bike, but then I worked harder to be even better, because talent can only take you so far.”

  • From the moment Courtney Duncan spied her first Motocross World Championship on television at 12 years old, she instantly knew she would one-day stand on that winning
podium.  Growing up in rural Palmerston NZ, Courtney was no stranger to dirt bike adventures, enjoying a casual blatt with friends, she soon realised she loved the sport.  Courtney went on to compete successfully nationwide, as well as achieving multiple NZ and Aussie titles; before she knew it, she turned pro!

After winning her Pro Debut in 2016, her sights were set on claiming the 2016 WMX World Championship, however, reality fell short of her expectations.  The next few years would be filled with injuries and disappointments, to the point where she nearly walked away from it all.  Finally, in 2019, she crossed the line to win the title!  History repeated itself in 2020 and again in 2021.  Now a three-time Women’s Motocross World Champion, Courtney has her eyes set on claiming her fourth world title.
